What the guide is for
Australia is one of the largest destinations for Indian students, and also one of the most closely managed. The government sets planning levels for new international enrolments, the student visa fee has risen several times, and the graduate visa now depends on the qualification and the age of the applicant. A university's offer is only the first step. We set out the steps that follow it, university by university and city by city.
Independence
No university, pathway college, bank or housing provider pays for a mention. Tables are sorted by fee, name or city. Edumapple's income comes from students who choose its paid application support.
Rules we follow
- Every fee, intake date and visa rule links to the body that sets it, with the date we read it.
- Australian dollars are converted to rupees at the rate printed on the page.
- No page promises an offer, a visa, permanent residence or a job.
- Where official sources disagree, we print both figures and their dates.
The full method is on our checks.
