Where each answer comes from
| Question | Source we use |
|---|---|
| Tuition, courses, intakes | The university's international fee schedule and course pages, and CRICOS |
| Student visa, funds, work limits | Department of Home Affairs pages and legislative instruments |
| Graduate visa and regional study | Home Affairs (subclass 485, designated regional areas) |
| Enrolment numbers | Department of Education international student data |
| Rent and population | State rental bond data, the Australian Bureau of Statistics |
| Recognition in India | UGC regulations, AIU, NMC for medicine |
Dollars and rupees
Every price begins as an Australian dollar amount from the source. The rupee figure beside it uses the exchange rate shown on that page and is rounded to the nearest lakh. A fee quoted per credit point is scaled up to a full-time load of one year, and the page notes it.
When two sources disagree
A university's fee schedule outranks its course page, and a course page outranks a brochure or agent flyer. For visas, the Home Affairs page outranks a university's own summary. Where two official Australian pages conflict, we print both figures with the date each was read.
What stays off the site
We leave out colleges sold mainly as a route to a visa, salary claims that no survey supports, and numbers that appeared only in a search snippet rather than on the page itself.
Who runs it
Australia Study is run by Edumapple, a counselling and application firm in Kochi. No table is ordered by an institution's relationship with us.
