Background
For over a decade Leonid has advised students on study abroad. His own time overseas taught him that families plan well for the fee and the flight and less well for the months between arrival and a steady part-time job, so he spends much of his time on budgets and visa conditions.

How he works on Australia
Australian universities publish fees per year or per credit point, often with a separate figure for each faculty, and many raise them every year. Leonid reads each university's fee schedule for the intake, notes the course code where it matters, and checks visa rules against Home Affairs and the legislative instruments behind them, not against agents' summaries.
With families
He starts from the end of the plan: the job and the visa after graduation, then the degree that gets there, then a city within the family's budget, and the university last.
