The real trade-off
A one-year UK master's saves a year of fees and living costs, which can be ₹20–30 lakh. An Australian two-year master's buys an extra eighteen months of open work for an Indian graduate and the five points for Australian study. Students who intend to come home soon after the degree often prefer the UK; those who want work experience abroad first often prefer Australia. See master's in Australia.
